mamou (6809/6309 Assembler)
mamou is a 6809 and 6309 cross-assembler. While historically significant and still used for building some firmware in the ToolShed repository (like SuperDOS), for new projects it is recommended to use LWTOOLS.
Note: mamou is officially deprecated in favor of lwasm.

The mamou assembler is deprecated and has been removed from the default build. Users are strongly encouraged to migrate to LWTOOLS (lwasm) for all future 6809/6309 assembly projects. mamou is no longer maintained.
